Harvey Walden

Born in Chicago, Harvey Walden IV joined the U.S. Marines aged 17 and completed his Basic Military Marine training (also referred to as ‘Boot Camp’) at MCRD San Diego. Harvey was a Drill Instructor at MCRD Parris Island, S.C. and has trained numerous platoons making men into marines and officers and ensuring recruits are fully prepared to meet the challenges of the battlefield by supplying the tools necessary to perform given tasks with efficiency, and the confidence to succeed in the face of adversity. After serving for over 20 years in the Marine Corps, Harvey retired in the summer of 2007 with the rank of First Sergeant. Harvey is best-known in the U.K. and U.S.A for his role as the expert fitness instructor and presenter on the ITV and VH1 prime-time show Celebrity Fit Club. Harvey lives in Los Angeles where he maintains his own gruelling personal fitness regime.
